Disclaimers
Listed below are links to the text contained in the various disclaimers that are required for all CAMS-permitted events.

This page was last functionally updated on June 2009. Please check this page regularly, as well as the "Site Updates" section on the CAMS homepage to ensure that you have the latest updates.

They are available in Rich Text Format (RTF), which you can view and copy with most common word processing applications (such as Microsoft Word, Openoffice.org, etc.). Please contact your CAMS state office if you require them in a different format.

 For Competitors and Drivers in all competitions other than rally and off road events (RTF - 19Kb)

 For Parents/Guardians of competitors under 18 years (RTF - 19Kb)
   Only where the parent/guardian is unable to sign the disclaimer at the event. If the parent/guardian is able to sign on at the event, then the standard "Competitors and Drivers in all competitions" form can be used.

   To be completed by those persons acting in the role of service crew and other support personnel in rally and other road events.

   This is to be attached to the general conditions of accreditation.

 For officials at the event (Sign on sheet) (RTF - 31Kb)
   To be completed by all officials at all events. Officials under 18 years need to sign their own sign on sheet and present it to the organisers, with parental section completed.

 For passengers in vehicles (RTF - 19Kb)
   where passenger is offered a ride in a competition car, e.g. media/sponsor rides, for a lap around the track as a result of winning a prize, etc.

 For pit lane personnel (Circuit Racing only - Permit codes: R1A through R7A) (RTF - 20Kb)
   for all persons that will be present in the designated pit lane at race meetings during the time the circuit is closed for competition, including pit crew, helpers, mechanics, signaling wall personnel etc.

   Where space on tickets, passes and credentials is limited, the following disclaimer wording may be used instead of that above (click here for further information).

This wording is to appear at all entrances to venues holding a valid CAMS Category 'A' or 'B' track licence. The sign should be predominantly and clearly displayed so that all people entering the venue would be expected to see and read it prior to their entry.  2006
