Garry Jacobson

Garry Jacobson is coming off an extremely successful year in karting, culminating in the Australian Karting Magazine naming him the number one driver of 2008, Jacobsen is perfectly poised for the transition into the Aussie Racing Car series and the next step to a professional motor sport career. 

Garry has many years of karting experience under his helmet, with a plethora of titles to his name and has started promisingly in the Aussie Racing Cars category with impressive performances in both testing and his first two rounds at the Clipsal 500 and Albert Park.

Josh Burdon

DOB: 5/09/1992
Location: Brerriedale, Tasmania

Josh Burdon was selected as an Aussie Young Gun in 2009 after an illustrious period in karting in Tasmania and elsewhere throughout the nation. In 2007 and 2008 Burdon was named Tasmanian Junior Clubman Champion.  He recorded a 4th placed result in Junior Clubman at the State Titles in 2008, as well as a 1st at the Southern Karting Prix in the Open Class.  Burdon has only been beaten once in any of the Tasmanian events in which he has entered.

Burdon debuted at the Winton round of the Shannon’s Nationals, impressing in the slippery conditions finishing 14th overall for the round.  All eyes will be on Josh for Round 4 of the Aussie Racing Car Super Series at Eastern Creek.
