A number of helpful links are provided below, to help assist with finding further information about the effects of illicit drugs, for help with illicit drug addiction, and further information from the Australian Federal Government on the IDiS Program.

Overview

For a detailed overview of the IDiS program an information booklet has been produced and can be found below. The booklet includes details about every aspect of the IDiS Program, and the main messages and ideals.


Illicit Drug Education Resources


Illicit Drug Resources are being distributed to each state, and will be available to every CAMS-affiliated car club in hard copy. The main education information source is via a set of illicit drug fact sheets (available for download below).

These fact sheets provide knowledge about the various illicit drugs, their effect on the body and the problems associated with their use. They cover the following illicit drugs:

    - Cocaine or cocaine hydrochloride
    - Ecstasy or Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)
    - GHB or Gamma-hydroxybutyrate
    - Ice and Base   
    - Speed
    - Other drugs (hallucinogens, ketamine and heroin)
    - Marijuana (cannabis)

In addition, and IDiS brochure and poster set (below) has been created for the program.
