Event Permits

Social Events

Social events are a key part of why our clubs exist and cover everything from club meetings, working bees and social gatherings through to club runs, show and shines and many other key social activities of clubs. CAMS Public Liability insurance covers all these activities included as part of your affiliation with CAMS.

Other Costs

A Certificate of Insurance with a named interested party can be requested, however a standard fee of $55.00 applys.

Sporting Events

CAMS issues a wide range of permits for sanctioned motor sport disciplines available to all CAMS affiliated car clubs and approved commercial entities.
 

Application

Application to conduct a sporting event must be lodged with CAMS at least 4 weeks prior to the event date.

Approval

The Supplementary Regulations and Entry Form will be reviewed by CAMS, to ensure compliance with our National Competition Rules and related regulations for the type of event proposed.

This process may take up to one week depending on the nature and complexity of the event.

Track Licences / Permissions

Certain motor sport disciplines are required to be conducted on CAMS approved venues, or have maps approved by CAMS. Some venues may require a state-legislated licence or approval so please check with the Department of Sport and Recreation in your state or terrioty if this is applicable.
