There are a range of benefits that being affiliated with CAMS has to offer. Here are just a few:

Insurance benefits

CAMS provides insurance for your club to run an event under a CAMS Permit. This includes Public Liability, Personal Accident and Voluntary Worker’s Insurance, up to a value of $100 million.

Obtain advice

Ability to obtain advice from CAMS administration and the countless volunteers who have developed a wealth of knowledge through their years of involvement. Advice may range from technical or sporting issues to safety and legal issues.

CAMS Sport and Club Development Team

Access to CAMS’ Sport and Club Development Team, who are available to assist clubs in all aspects of their operations from paperwork, licences and permits to council/government liaison, training, event management etc.

Collaborate with Clubs

Opportunity to collaborate with other CAMS-affiliated car clubs to run events and maintain a prosperous club system.

Linkage to FIA

Affiliation with a nationally and internationally recognised confederation – CAMS is delegated its responsibility by the international governing body for motor sport, the FIA, and is also the government recognised national sporting authority for motor sport in Australia.

Club Voice

Representation and ability to debate and vote on issues at the Sport and Club Development Council, ensuring your club has a voice in terms of how the sport is run.

Operate under an integrated international system of motor sport regulation that provides stable, universal standards of competency, organisational capacity, fairness and judicial process for all participants.
