The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Chief scrutineer at the Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix.
This exciting opportunity requires candidates to possess the requisite skills, experience and aptitude to meet the demanding and diverse requirements of this honorary position.
The incumbent will lead the provision of scrutineering services at this hallmark international event, including planning, recruitment, training, acquisition and deployment of resources (human and physical) as well as providing operational leadership at the event. You will lead a dedicated team of volunteer members, be responsible for management of the on-site scrutineering facility and be the principle liaison point scrutineering.
The position requires candidates to possess outstanding communication and interaction skills, a CAMS Gold Scrutineer Licence, to have acted as a Chief Scrutineer at a previous event and have worked in the scrutineering team at a Previous Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix.
