Over the years he has acted in almost every aspect of motor sport, from flag marshal to Senior Steward at major national and international events.
For many years he competed as a navigator in the Tasmanian Club and Rally Championship, also competing in hill climbs and races.
In 1976 he won the CAMS Award of Merit for his outstanding services to motor sport, and served as the CAMS National Councillor for Tasmania from 1979-1993, 1997 and 2003.
A long time committee member of the Light Car Club of Tasmania, Brian was part of the establishment of the famous Longford circuit and was Chairman of the LMRA Motor Racing Committee for over 10 years.
CAMS would like to congratulate Brian on this most deserved Honour.
