Superkarts are a CAMS affiliated Racing Category that runs through established clubs in NSW, Qld, Vic and South Australia. All Clubs have approximately 9 or more races a year and meet twice a year to race together to crown an Australian Champion in each eligible class. There are three Gearbox Classes and two Non-Gearbox Classes to race in. Superkarts cover most age groups and have club meetings in each State every month. Close racing is guaranteed in all the classes on offer. The fastest Superkarts have a twin cylinder 2 stroke configuration and are capable of reaching lap times of the fastest racing car classes in Australia.
The 250cc International twin-cylinder engine is the fastest Superkart, followed by the 250 National single cylinder and 125cc Gearbox classes. The budget end of Superkarting uses the 125 Non-Gearbox Rotax Max engine commonly used in sprint Karting. Superkarting is truly great value for money when considering a motor sport Category to circuit race in every state. These machines have fantastic acceleration and cornering speed. Superkarts race at all Australian full circuits such as Phillip Island and Sydney Motorsport Park. If speed, handling, wonderful club support and atmosphere is something you are looking for, contact Superkarts Australia.
