What is the Lex Davison Society?

The Lex Davison Society is a group of individuals who have pledged a part of their estate (as part of their last will and testament) to assist young Australian motor sport competitors competing internationally.

The society provides a transparent vehicle whereby pledges from the estates of Society members can be utilised to assist the careers of young Australian motor sport competitors embarking on international motor sport campaigns.

Structure

The Society has two patrons, Tony and Diana Gaze.

The Board of the AMSF oversees the management and distribution of all funds received from the Lex Davison Society.

Michael Stillwell (AMSF Director) is responsible for the portfolio, and works in conjunction with the patrons to position, market and grow the membership of the Lex Davison Society.

Patrons

Tony and Diana Gaze fulfil the role of joint patrons of the Lex Davison Society.

Tony Gaze
Tony holds the honour of not only being a great friend of the late Lex Davison, but he was also Australia’s first ever driver to compete in Formula 1 (1952).

Tony has an amazing history in motor sport and brings a lifetime of passion and knowledge of the sport to his position as joint patron of the Lex Davison Society.

Diana Gaze
Diana Gaze is the widow of the late Lex Davison and is the matriarch of Australian motor sport royalty; the Davison family.

Diana is loved and respected by both the Australian and International motor sport communities.
