Registrations Open For 2017 CAMS Foundation Drive Day

CAMS-Foundation _Drive -Day

Registrations have now opened for the 2017 CAMS Foundation Drive Day at Sydney Motorsport Park, with the annual fundraiser to be held from Monday August 14.

It is a day of thrilling motor sport experiences, with proceeds from the day to be invested back into developing Australia’s next generation of local and international motor racing talent.

Two packages are available for the day for those looking to sample Sydney Motorsport Park in their own road car, or to take advantage of maximum track time in their own race car.

At just $595 per car, guests can tackle the 2.8 kilometre long North Circuit in their own road going car - with, at a minimum, a CAMS Speed Level licence. A three-course gourmet luncheon will also be hosted by Greg Rust featuring Mark Skaife, Russell Ingall and Tony Longhurst – who between them share 10 Bathurst 1000 victories.

Alternatively, for those seeking maximum mid-week track time in their own race car can enjoy a minimum of five on-track sessions for $495 per car – open to closed cockpit or open-wheel race cars.

Places are limited, click here to download your registration form.

About the CAMS Foundation

The aim of the CAMS Foundation is to identify and support talented young Australian drivers to successfully compete in National and International motor sport.

With the support of the CAMS Foundation, up to four talented drivers are chosen as CAMS Rising Stars each year by an experienced selection panel.

Each CAMS Rising Star is provided with significant technical, physical and financial support over the period of a year; with their development being monitored and driven with the ultimate aim of progression within the global motorsport community.

Once selected as CAMS Rising Star each driver joins an exceptional list of revered CAMS supported graduates, including the likes of Daniel Ricciardo, Will Power, James Courtney and Will Davison.
