Mildura City Council will host an information evening on its proposed world-class motor sport precinct.
CAMS CEO Eugene Arocca has thrown his support behind the proposal.
“It’s one of the most exciting projects in this country and is proudly supported by CAMS,” Arocca said.
“The centre is ideally located between Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide and offers the very best in motor sport opportunities, including a bitumen track, skid pan and associated facilities for an integrated motor sport complex.
“It will be able to cater for a host of different motor sport disciplines and is located only 10km from the Mildura CBD.”
A special information evening will be held on Wednesday 19 July at 6pm in Mildura for those interested in learning more about the project.
The Mildura City Council is also on the lookout for investors and developers for the first stage of the project, which would include:
- A sealed three kilometre road circuit (with potential for expansion)
- A multi-use skid pan measuring 100m x 45m
- Pits and a control tower
- Office facilities
- Maintenance/wash-down shed
- Food/beverage facilities
- Parking area
- Camping site
