*Note: Candidate nominations for the South Australia and Northern Territory Elected Director on the CAMS Board had to be submitted by 5.30pm on Tuesday, 10 July.
Just one day remains for potential candidates to nominate for the vacant position on the CAMS Board as Elected Director for South Australia and Northern Territory.
The position became vacant last month when Michael Clements resigned to pursue other business opportunities after a six-year term on the CAMS Board.
Nominations close at 5.30pm (AEST) on 10 July and the election will be held during the State Council meeting on 17 July.
At the meeting, those eligible will be able to cast their vote as per the CAMS Constitution.
The elected SA /NT Director will be in a position to help shape the future of motor sport in what is a challenging yet richly rewarding role within one of the most exciting sports in the world.
“The CAMS Board is committed to promoting diversity and encourages our female members to consider nominating as candidates to further represent the diversity that exists within motor sport,” CAMS CEO Eugene Arocca said.
“A good understanding of the legal duties and responsibilities of directors along with skills that would complement those of existing directors would be an advantage."
