Less than three hours south west of Perth lies a motor sports facility that is as rich as the Coal Mining the land was once used for.
It’s the Collie Motorplex in Western Australia.
It recently fired up for the first time under new manager Jason James, staging featuring a state round for HQ Holdens.
Home to Motoring South West Inc. facilities include a 1.6 km closed course, gravel sections, slalom and skid pan.
While Barbagallo is WA’s premier venue, Collie has its admirers and James would love to see more using the gem of a circuit.
“We have plenty of track time available to lease out and at very competitive rates I’ve got to add.” James said.
“Not only is it cheap to come use our motor sports facilities, but we can fire up the Canteen for weekend bookings, there’s camping and shower facilities… it’s great for test days, corporate days. We can accommodate just about anybody.”
